The Columbus, OH housing market experienced a significant shift in the past year as a result of rising mortgage rates and increasing home prices. Inflation played a major role in driving up mortgage rates throughout 2022. Despite these challenges, the demand for housing in the Columbus area remained strong, which ultimately led to a surge in home prices. In this presentation, we will closely examine the housing data from 2022 in Columbus and nearby areas in order to provide a comprehensive analysis and forecast for the housing market in 2023.
